A history of expertise, quality and dedication
HCL Safety began as a specialist division within a construction and buildings maintenance supplies group before becoming an independent company following a management buy-out in 1992. We quickly became the UK market leader in the installation of safety at height solutions – specifically ‘ManSafe’ or ‘Latchways’ systems, manufactured by MSA Safety.
In 2015, HCL was acquired by MSA Safety Inc., a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of safety products that protect people and facility infrastructures.
With continued investment we have continued to grow and today, HCL Safety today employs more than 150 people through a country-wide network of 10 operational areas.
We have four dedicated divisions which specialise in safety at height system design and installation, system inspection and maintenance, fall protection training and product servicing.
